Everyday care

Hand washing
Use warm water and a mild detergent with a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scourers and bleach, which can dull a glazed surface over time.
General tips
Let pieces cool before washing, and avoid sudden temperature changes. Stack with a soft cloth between pieces to protect the glaze.
A tall, handleless cup decorated with cherry, orchid and berry motifs over a speckled glaze — the traditional Japanese yunomi shape, warm in the hands and easy to hold. At around 300 ml it works as happily for water and coffee as it does for green tea.
